Argument over cell phones results in stabbing death

“The victim was taken to hospital by his brother with severe stab wounds and died at Tembisa Hospital.“

A man was declared dead upon arrival at Tembisa Hospital at 11pm on Thursday night after he was allegedly stabbed in Esselin Park. Sgt Johanna Madiga, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS, told Express that it is alleged that the stabbing occurred as a result of a dispute about cellphones.

“The victim was taken to hospital by his brother with severe stab wounds and died at Tembisa Hospital. “The suspect allegedly told a witness that he stabbed the man because they had an argument about missing cellphones. “The witness also said the suspect is not violent in nature,” said Madiga.
