Get your Tekkie Tax Day goodies at Casa Caritas

Tekkie Tax Day is on the horizon and Casa Caritas is selling stickers, badges and shoelaces for donations, so you will contribute to charity while wearing your tekkies on June 31.

According to Casa Caritas chief executive officer Adri Kruger, Casa Caritas depends heavily upon donations to keep the home for mental and physically challenged residents open.

Kruger said since the start of the lockdown, donations had dried up considerably and she appealed to the community to reach out on Tekkie Tax Day.

Proceeds collected during the Tekkie Tax Day campaign go towards NPOs, including Casa Caritas.

Tekkie Tax stickers and badges are sold for R10 and the funky shoelaces for R40.

These Tekkie Tax goodies can be purchased at Casa Caritas at 7 De Villiers Avenue in Terenure.
