These shops at Festival Mall are open

The mall operates under the no mask no entry rule.

Seventy-seven more tenants at Festival Mall are permitted to operate under strict regulations under level four lockdown regulations.

This comes after only 14 tenants were identified as providing essential services to the public and were therefore exempted from the nationwide lockdown implemented on March 27.

Level four lockdown came into effect on May 1.These are the stores that are open to trade: Dis-Chem, Pick n Pay, Game, Incredible Connection, Hi-Fi Corporation, Checkers Hyper, Chatz Connect, Interchange, Craig Smith Optometrist, Walk in Doctors and Dentist, Daniel J, Satvision DSTV, Chanson, Studio 88, Contempo Ladies Wear, PQ Clothing, Home Mark, La Gourmet & Gadgets, Nedbank, Sheet Street, Old Mutual, Capitec Bank (entrance two), Telkom, Rage, Festive Sweets, Sportscene, The Hub, Identity, The Cross Trainer, Hi Store, Steers, Mr Price Home, Mr Price Sport, Vodacom, Uzzi, Relay Jeans, Legit, Foschini, Donna-Claire, Exact, Kingsmen Tailor, Markham, Solo Shoes, Milady’s, Refinery, Mr Price Weekend, Signature Cosmetics, Pick n Pay Clothing, Crossover International, Pep Stores, Baladi, Chatz Connect (entrance one), The Crazy Store, John Craig, Pep Cell, High Key, Pep Home, Webbers, MacGregors, Dunns, Clicks, Shahzeeb Cell and Sound, Cell C, V Cell, Queens Park, MTN, Standard Bank, Matrix, Capitec Bank, 3@1, CNA, Shoe City, Ackermans, Totalsports, Edgars, Archive, Jet, Truworths, Oro ‘e Diamante, Woolworths, Fashion Express, Chanson Two (outside entrance four), Cash Converters, Jam Clothing, Tekkie Town, The Bed Shop, Caltex, Carwash, Side Step and Mr Tekkie.

These are some of the stores that will remain closed during this period: Game Liquor, House and Home, Absa Bank, Kind Pie (entrance one), Verimark, Technogold, Assupol, Rochester Furniture, African Bank, Ster Kinekor, Running Waters Spur, Panarottis Pizza Pasta, Festival Mall Ice Arena, Sterns, Spitz, Old Fashioned Fish and Chips, Mugg and Bean, House of Ribs, Wimpy, Nando’s, Musica, Spec-Savers, King Pie (entrance four), Debonairs Express, Chicken Licken, Multiserv, Torga Optical, Sausage Saloon, Pick n Pay Liquor, First National Bank, Kurt Geiger, American Swiss, Homecorp, Aqua Dry Dry Cleaners, UFO Furniture, Bradlows, Fair Price and Supa Quick.

Although there are more shops operating, Daphne Smith, centre manager at Festival Mall, said trading hours had been altered.

“The mall is open from 9am to 5pm and from 9am until 2pm on weekends and public holidays,” said Smith.

Only entrance four remains open until 6pm as Pick n Pay closes at that time. All parking is free.

There are only three entrances open at the mall and the mall operates under the no mask no entry rule.
