JUST IN: Tenant assaulted as sub-letted Rhodesfield rooms go up in flames (video)

The main house on the property was not damaged.

Six rooms built in the backyard of a property on Mustang Street in Rhodesfield were gutted by a fire on Sunday afternoon.

According to information from the scene the rooms had been sub-letted by the homeowner.

The fire started in one of the rooms recently occupied by a couple and two children. It is believed the tenant in whose room the fire started had been assaulted by fellow tenants after the fire erupted.
