DA wins first ward in Kempton Park

Clr Jaco Terblanche has won ward 16 (Kempton Park Central, Kempton Park Extensions 2-4, Aston Manor, Nimrod Park, Allen Grove, part of Glen Marais).

This is the first Kempton Park ward’s final results to have come in with most of Ekurhuleni’s results still outstanding.

So far, the DA has won six seats on the metro council with the ANC on three. No other party has claimed a seat as yet.
