Highlighting the importance of personal hygiene, Dr Dludla, a dental practitioner, performed a few demonstrations to the children of Tumelo home. Dr Dludla, who has a close relation with the home, said dental hygiene is very important, especially to these children with disabilities.

“Health is not complete without oral hygiene. The aim is to teach these children how to be hygienic and to take care of their hygiene,” said Dr Dludla.

The home was founded by Dr Moses Thindisa and his late wife Orina in 1997; it is currently a home to more than 30 handicapped children.
