#MandelaDay – Volunteers knitting away at Greenstone Shopping Centre
"It is in our hands to make a difference, everyone is welcome to support our movement"
67 blankets for Nelson Mandela volunteers are knitting away at Greenstone Shopping Centre.
The challenge for the organisation is to knit 67 blankets and hand them out to those in need on Mandela Day.
“The response from the community thus far is absolutely amazing. Thank you for the donations Edenvale is unbelievably supportive” said Ms Chris Boyd.
“It is in our hands to make a difference, everyone is welcome to support our movement” said Ms Jen Cawood member of the organisation.
The volunteers will be at the centre until 2pm.
The community is invited to help knit for their 67 minutes.
