R100 000 donated to Casa Caritas for Mandela Day
Norkem Park SAPS also paid a visit to the home and spent a few hours cleaning the lapa, garage and store room
VARIOUS organisations chose to spend their 67 Minutes with Casa Caritas on Friday as part of Mandela Day, which is on Saturday.
Firstly, the staff members at Casa Caritas received a huge surprise when Secrete Steps Trading donated R100 000 to the home.
Police officials from Norkem Park SAPS also spent some time cleaning the lapa, garage and store room, which the men also helped unpack.
Staff members of Jet Park company Aveng Grinaker-LTA donated over 80 blankets to keep the children warm and cozy during the cold winter season. The construction and engineering group also spent some time with the kids.
Stuttaford Van Lines bought food and other groceries for Casa Caritas and also spent time with the children. Other organisations that also contributed to Casa Caritas were P&G South Africa ands Van Riebeeck Park CPF.
