According to Mr Oupa Malatjie, one of the organisers of the festival, the Tswelopele Performing Artists will also bring their friends from Sweden. He said a choir consisting of 30 singers will perform at the festival.
Groups that will participate on the day are Children of Light, directed by Mr Ronald Matsheta, the Tswelopele Performing Artists directed by Mr Malatjie, the Rutanang Community Projects directed by Mr Lucky Kgafela, the Latjies Art Society directed by cast members, the Tembisa Young Generation directed by Mr Thabo Mokoena and many more.
Mr Malatjie is calling on all art lovers to attend the festival.
“The best of Tembisa artists is yet to be seen and we are promising to give our best over the weekend,” he said.
