The victim claims the incident took place on Monday, after school hours.
According to the Tembisa SAPS spokesperson, Constable Tebogo Sesing, the child’s aunt noticed blood by her groin area.
“The child’s aunt asked what had happened. The victim then claimed she had been raped by a security guard at her school. The aunt took the child to the police stationand a case of rape was opened,” said Const Sesing.
The suspect was arrested and detained at the Tembisa police station.
He is expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court soon.
