Church celebrates in style

The celebrations took place at the church in Ivory Park on Saturday last week.

The church’s leader, Pastor Vincent Mathews, could not attend the celebrations as he was attending a Bishop’s conference in the United States of America. Pastor Mathews will be ordained as a Bishop at the end of the year.

Among the people who graced the occasion were Nawa Mlangeni, known as Zeb Matabane in Isidingo, Clr Zitha and other local celebrities. More than 250 matric pupils were also given gifts to encourage them to study hard for the up-coming exams. In the absence of her husband, Sharon Mathews, the pastor’s wife, was at the helm of the celebrations.
