Telta leads the way

To promote the image of the Tembisa Local Taxi Association (Telta), and to strengthen their efforts to protect passengers, Telta bought new furniture and a new car recently.

The association’s general secretary, Peter ‘The Black’ Ntsoane, said the association has been using furniture which was bought more than 17 years ago.

“We would like to make sure that when our members visit the association, they are able to sit in a clean environment. We are also encouraging members to take care of their own environment and to be a shining light in our fight for saving the environment around us,” he said.

Meanwhile, the association’s deputy general secretary, Zweli Mnisi, is inviting all Telta members to attend a special general meeting to be held at the Rabasotho Hall on September 12.
