The annual Liquor City Glen Acres’ Wine and Brew Festival takes place on March 4 at Edenica Private School, 37 Sim Street, Glen Marais (opposite Glen Balad Mall).
You can expect over 40 wines, beer and cocktail stalls as well as tantalising Portuguese food that will be on sale.
Tickets for adults cost R140 a person and for children under 12, R45. The ticket price for adults includes a tasting glass, tasting sample on wines and live entertainment, including traditional Portuguese dancing, traditional piano accordion music as well as DJ Paul on the decks.
The children will have a secure play area at the event with loads of games to keep them entertained, with face painting and a jumping castle.
Credit cards are welcome on the day. The event will start at 12.30pm and end at 10pm.
