THE Garden of Lights in the gardens at the Peermont D’oreale Grande Hotel at Emperors Palace will be open from December 2 to January 8.
Entry into the garden is R25 a person and booking is essential.
Tickets can be bought through Webtickets on www.webtickets.co.za or by visiting your nearest Pick n Pay money counter. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Cancer Association of South Africa and the Peermont Children’s and Education Trusts.
The lights spectacle will make for a perfect night out and younger visitors to the event will be particularly pleased with a variety of exciting funfair rides. Provided by Happyland, some of the rides include Jump and Smile, Break Dancer, Freeway Fantasy, Helter Skelter and the all-time favourite Ferris Wheel.
Stalls selling a variety of food and beverage will also be available, including festive season paraphernalia. As a keepsake, children can also have a photograph taken with Santa Claus at Santa’s Grotto, located in the Entertainment Emporium outside Nu Metro on selected days.
The gates will be open from 7pm to 10pm, weather permitting. In the event of overcast and rainy weather, ticket holders will be contacted via sms about moving their bookings to a different date.
