The stage adaptation of Dalene Matthee’s influential masterpiece Fiela se Kind (Fiela’s Child), the story of a Cape Coloured woman who adopted an abandoned white child found in the woods, will be staged at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace between June 20 and July 2.
Presented by Lefra Productions and directed by Frans Swart, the show boasts a star-studded cast that will see industry stalwart, Shaleen Surtie-Richards, reprise her role as Fiela Komoetie.
Surtie-Richards will be joined on stage by a talented cast, including Marissa Claasen, Jaime du Toit, Johny Klein and many more.
The show will be performed from Tuesdays to Saturdays at 8pm with matinee shows on Thursdays at 2pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm.
Tickets are priced from R120 a person.
