EDENVALE Photographic Club will host the 2016 Combined East Rand Photographic Societies Photographic Congress and Interclub Competition.
The event is due to take place at Edenvale Community Centre on Saturday, October 15, starting with registration at 8am.
“The congress is open to anyone who is interested in photography, whether they have a camera or not,” says club vice-chairman, Dave Gordon. “The programme covers a wide range of subjects and talks by some of the top photographers in the country.”
In addition to the formal presentations there will be three different studio set ups complete with lights, backdrops and live models where professional and aspiring photographers will be able to practice their skills at portrait, Cosplay and close up photography at just R65 per 10-minute shoot. Advance booking for these shoots is essential.
