Driver runs away as truck gets stuck under Elgin Road bridge
Motorists are requested to let Express know whenever they come across a truck stuck underneath the subway
Motorists were again frustrated on Friday afternoon when yet another truck got stuck underneath the Elgin Road subway.
Although this is a regular ocurrance, the metro seems unphased by the problem, just saying that they have tried all options to prevent this.
Apparently the driver ran away.
EXPRESS urge motorists to take photographs and inform us as soon as this happens again. Maybe if we can prove that this is a regular problem, the metro will reconsider introducing some measures, like overhead chains, to try and curb the problem.
