School’s sports stars get medals

THESE sports stars were the top students in each grade at Global College’s annual prize-giving ceremony on August 22. The students won the Kempton Park inter-schools’ leagues for netball, soccer and volleyball which they participated in during May. They achieved gold medals, certificates and trophies. The top sports players in each grade are Bridget Chimhangatso (grade 8 netball), Bonolo Phatela (grade 9 netball), Calvin Bonginkosi Masilela (grade 8 athletics), Potego Molatji (grade 11 soccer), Thato Choma (grade 10 soccer), Joelle Bulupi-Pongi and Gladman Zinyeka (both grade 12 volleyball).
