Foundation gives back to the community of Winnie Mandela

Organisations held a soup kitchen stall for the people of Winnie Mandela in commemoration of Mandela Day.

Izithelo ZeNkosi Foundation and Tintswalo Home Based Care joined hands recently to honour their 67-minute commitment to Mandela Day.

Together, the organisations gave back to the community of Winnie Mandela.

Volunteers chose to show a little love to those living on the streets, specifically those addicted to nyaope.

Many of those who turned up to enjoy the soup kitchen had been living on the streets for years and had turned to crime to make ends meet.

The organisations believe that every person has a name and identity as they were created in the image of God.

“A united community can overcome any challenge. We would like to thank everyone who donated towards this noble cause.
