“What inspires me to push hard and achieve more in life is that mentality I know I can achieve more. I am my own role model in that way.

“I don’t have to be like someone else but I can be myself and create a name,” he said.

Mosime added his musical journey evolved over the years.

While looking for new music, he stumbled across a music genre called umbhoqo which he enjoyed.

He said he has worked with South African musicians such as the John Vuli Gate, Ntosh Gazi and the Samba Ngo Line.

He also started a podcast called King Mzaiza Music.

Mosime promotes his music on social media, and now that people know him and his music, they often stream or download it.

He uses his own social media accounts to promote his work.

“Social media is the best platform for artists to promote their work. I push my links mostly on Facebook and the numbers are great.

“I don’t even promote any more. I upload the track online, and the people will stream or download it because they always check my music channels,” Mosime said.

Mosime said that he always wanted to be a musician. To him, music runs in the family because his mom used to sing and his younger brother is also a singer.

“The plan is to start a non-profit organisation so that I can help my community. I want to give back to the community because they are showing so much love and support to me so it is only right and fair if I give back.
