Kids Market founder, Mirandi Myburgh, thanked the parents who allowed their children to be part of the event.

“While teaching children the importance of money, they also learn crucial life skills such as decision-making, creative thinking, interpersonal relationship skills, self-awareness building skills, communication, and coping with stress and emotions.

“The children were happy and enjoyed the day, and that is all that matters,” said Myburgh.

The community responded well to the children and supported these young entrepreneurs.

Rosie’s Creations shop founder, Rosé Jane Booysen said having her stall at the market is a lot of fun.

“This is my second market. People asked me if I made everything I sold at my stall.

“My mom encouraged me to join the market and I am planning to attend more markets,” said Booysen.

The market encourages youngsters to think like business people.
