Local flying squad arrests suspect and recovers bakkie

The suspect is scheduled to appear before court, for charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

The 30-year-old suspect is expected to appear in the Springs Magistrate's Court facing charges of possession of a stolen vehicle.

Benoni Flying Squad members arrested one suspect and recovered a motor vehicle on March 14.

At around 12:00 on the day, officers arrested a 30-year-old suspect on Welgedaght Road, Springs, when he was found with a white Nissan NP200 that tested positively stolen on a Springs case reported in February.

The bakkie that was recovered from the suspect.

The suspect will be appearing in the Springs Magistrate’s Court facing charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
