Motorists are urged to avoid the R21 before the Pomona Road exit after a truck transporting mayonnaise lost its load.
Traffic heading towards Pretoria is affected.

The motorway may be slippery and several lanes of the highway have been closed off.
In video footage uploaded to X and shared on WhatsApp bystanders can be seen looting containers of the condiment.
