Local flying squad arrests two suspects and recover a vehicle
BFS made arrests between February 14 and 18. Suspects were nabbed for crimes such as being in possession of copper cables and house robbery.
Between February 14 and 18, Benoni Flying Squad members arrested two suspects and recovered one motor vehicle.
On February 14 at around 11:00, officers received information from a complainant of a wanted suspect for house robbery in the Nigel area.
Sergeant Jaco Powell proceeded to the address at corner Voortrekker and Station roads, Brakpan, where the 36-year-old suspect was pointed out and arrested.

Members received information on February 15 at around 10:00, which led to the arrest of a 30-year-old suspect in Pendoring Street, Dalpark.
When the suspect was arrested, he was found in possession of four copper cables.
A hijacked blue Honda Civic was recovered abandoned at Ext 10, Ivory Park, reported on a Boksburg North case.
Investigation continues in all cases.
The suspects will appear in the Brakpan Magistrate’s Court facing charges of house robbery, possession of suspected stolen property and destruction of essential infrastructure.
