Benoni Flying Squad members arrested two suspects and recovered one truck and a motor vehicle between December 4 and 7.
The two arrests were for traffic violations of reckless and negligent driving on the N12 between Snake Road and the Kingsway off-ramp and driving under the influence of liquor on Atlas Road, Boksburg.

In further policing, they recovered a hijacked Hino truck abandoned on the corner of the R562 and Republic Road, Ivory Park, reported hijacked on a Centurion case, and a silver Peugeot on the M57 next to Indlela, Olifantsfontein, reported stolen on an Ivory Park case.

Investigation continues in all cases.
The suspects, aged 36 and 46, appeared in the Daveyton and Boksburg Magistrate’s courts, where they faced charges of reckless and negligent driving, assaulting a police official and driving under the influence.
