Local NPO takes a stand against crime on August 26

AbafaziPhambili will host a walk to raise awareness about GBVF. The SAPS in Norkem Park will also be part of the walk.

AbafaziPhambili will host a 5km walk/run to close off this year’s Women’s Month.

The walk aims to raise awareness about gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF).

The event is on August 26.

AbafaziPhambili is an NPO founded by Sis’ Mantoa Selepe.

Its vision is to advocate for gender equality on the ground for the most abandoned, neglected, and underprivileged women the country only remembered during the election campaigning.
