Six arrested for driving under the influence in Kempton Park CBD
The operation focused on liquor outlet compliance, drug enforcement, driving under the influence of alcohol as well as the monitoring of hotspot areas.
Kempton Park SAPS embarked on a high-density operation on May 20 in CBD Kempton Park.

The operation focused on liquor outlet compliance, drug enforcement, driving under the influence of alcohol as well as the monitoring of hotspot areas.
Spokesperson for the Kempton Park SAPS Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego said that the operation yielded positive results and six suspects were arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol.
“Eighty-nine people and 35 vehicles were searched.
“ATMs were monitored, malls were patrolled and filling stations were also visited to avoid any criminal activities,” said Ditshego.
