Netball tournament to be held
Divisions at the tournament are U15, U19 and seniors. Registration will be at 08:00, with the first game starting at 08:30.
Kempton Park and Tembisa Netball Club (K&T) will be hosting their first netball tournament on Saturday.

The tournament will be held at Sir Pierre Van Ryneveld High School.
K&T is a local club established in March 2020.
“The netball club is based in Kempton Park and Tembisa with the objective of youth development, particularly through netball skills in Kempton Park and Thembisa,” said Abongile Manisi Ngomane, the club’s head coach.
“The club has two divisions, the U19 and seniors.”
Although this is the first tournament, the head coach also added that it will be an annual tournament.
“Through the tournament, young and old girls will be exposed to professional netballers and the best icons of netball.
“This is more than just a tournament as we aim to unite girls through sports. Being the first-ever netball tournament hosted in Kempton Park, we are excited.”

Spots for stalls are still available and there is an entrance fee to be paid at the gate.
