“The operation was similar to O Kae Molao operations, which are aimed at reducing the levels of crime in the province,” said Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego.

“The detectives started the operation by tracking five wanted suspects. These suspects were individually arrested on charges of theft, domestic violence, attempted murder and armed robbery,” Ditshego said.

Ditshego said the operation progressed and new charges were filed against two of the five suspects – possession of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon and theft.
