Kempton Park police arrested four suspects in two separate incidents following the discovery of suspected stolen property in Kempton Park.
In the first arrest, officers were performing their daily patrolling duties around Deodar Street in Pomona when they noticed a man standing close to a lot of containers at the back of a damaged truck. When the police approached the suspect, he tried to flee but was apprehended.

According to Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sgt Dipuo Ditshego, the police requested to search the containers and the suspect agreed. The police found four big containers containing diesel. The suspect could not account for the diesel and he was arrested for being in possession of suspected stolen property.
In the second arrest, three suspects were arrested for being in possession of copper cables valued at R30 000 on Pretoria Road.
