Urban Entertainment hosts first annual Sneakers Experience

Urban Entertainment hosted its first annual Sneakers Experience in Ivory Park Extension 13 on November 2.

The 12-hour event kicked off at 6pm until 6am. People flocked to the venue with their sneakers on point.

According to the organiser, Thulani Khoza, the event aimed at bringing different people to showcase different sneaker cultures.

“We wanted to see people comfortable in their shoes and also witness the variety of designs there are from individuals. “In the process, we also wanted to grow the name of the neighbourhood because at some point we noticed that there is a lack of such entertainment events here. We wanted to bring the fashion and culture of sneakers in the hood,” said Khoza.

“The event was successful because we had expected 250 people, but we got way above that number, and the response has been great so far,” added Khoza.
