Media heavyweights meet with the youth

CRE8 Media Communications brought a media talk in Tembisa at Caprivi lounge

CRE8 Media Communications hosted a media talk at Caprivi Lounge on July 6.

The Sifu’Ukwazi media talk was meant to be a platform where industry heavyweights shared their struggles and offered solutions to the challenges young black people face in the media industry.

Media fanatics dared the cold in support of the media talk.

“The event focused on self growth and how to benefit in the industry. We specifically chose our guests on merit because of the impact they have in the industry, as young people,” said Mr Sifiso Mkhwanazi, the founder of CRE8 Media Communications.

Sbusiso Ngwenya, the founder of a successful brand called Skinny Sbu Socks, graced the stage to share his secretes and experiences in the world of entrepreneurship.

Manaka Ranaka, from a television soap opera, also shared her views with young people to shed light on the nature of the media business.

Other guests of honour and speakers were Lindiwe Nkosi, Lebo Mpheala, Refilwe Moiloia, Jacques Skeenkamp and Nia Brown.

“We were also celebrating 40 years since June 16, 1976. We aim to travel all over Ekurhuleni, working with more young people. Many young people face challenges and they end up giving up on their talents. That is what the Sifu’Ukwazi media talk is all about,” said Mr Sifiso Mkhwanazi.

Local music was performed live to entertain guests.
