Rub shoulders with Gru and his Minions at Carnival City

Fans of the outrageous blockbuster franchise Despicable Me are in for an exciting treat at Carnival City on June 16 and 17 when Gru and one of his Minions, Mel, venture to the complex to meet their fans in anticipation of Despicable Me 3’s cinematic launch in South Africa on June 30.

They will make grand appearances on June 16 at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30am, 2pm, 3pm 4pm and 6.30pm. On 17 June they will appear at 9.15am, 10.15am, 12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm 4pm and 6.30pm.

Buoyed by the response to the Minions’ roadshow to promote their movie Minions in 2015, Carnival City looks forward to welcoming fans in their droves. Fans will get to meet the famed Despicable Me characters and even have their photos taken with them. Carnival City will make the experience even more memorable with fun-filled activities and other surprises. There is no cost to join the fun.
