Resident fed up with cables being stolen

Kempton EXPRESS, Glen Marais residents need your help.

Today (September 27) is the seventh time since March they stole the cables. It happens once a month and every time around 3am the power goes off.

I tried many times to get answers from Ekurhuleni but nothing. We have four fish tanks and that is always a concern.

Do they steal the cables from the same place every time? If they do, will you please tell us where then we can phone the police at 3am. Why does Ekurhuleni not try to protect cables they know are stolen every month?

I heard these cables are very expensive. And it is only in Glen Marais that cables are stolen.
