Local police arrest four suspects during weekend operation
Benoni Flying Squad arrested 4 suspects over weekend for crimes relating to drug possession and cable theft.
Benoni Flying Squad members arrested four suspects on July 14 and 15.
Three suspects were arrested for possession of drugs in Kempton Park as well as in Brakpan.
Nyaope (heroin) and crystal methamphetamine were recovered in these separate incidents.
On Saturday at around 13:45, officers patrolling along North Rand Road, Kempton Park noted a suspicious person next to the road.

After searching the suspect and investigation, he was arrested for theft of cables and the cables in his possession seized.
Investigation continues in all cases.
The suspects will appear in the Brakpan and Kempton Park magistrate’s courts facing charges of possession of drugs and theft.
