Adopt pets at Kempton Park’s SPCA

The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete.

These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet at the Kempton Park SPCA:

1. Choose an animal and fall in love.

This beautiful adult female Maltese poodle can’t wait to be part of your family.

2. Complete the application to adopt the animal. Pay R200 (non-refundable) deposit. You need a copy of your ID and proof of residence.

This adorable adult male Corgi-cross is looking for the perfect family.

3. The staff will inspect your application.

4. The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete, and pre-homes are ONLY conducted between 10:00 and 14:00; Monday to Friday.

This 10-week-old female domestic short-haired kitten is waiting for her fur-ever home.

5. On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

6. The animal will go for sterilisation as soon as there is space at the vet after approval of the home inspection.

7. Take your fur-baby home.

The local society reserves the right to reject or refuse the application.

Adoption fees:

• Dog: R1 300 (includes sterilisation, micro-chip, first vaccination, first de-wormer and tag)

• Cat: R950 (includes sterilisation, first vaccination, first de-wormer and micro-chip optional)
