"People say the way you look says a lot about you and that inspired me to be a stylist for others."

Kempton Park stylist and fashion enthusiast Dimakatso Selepe hosted a fashion show on December 3.
The event was held at her Birch Acres property from where she spoke to the Express about her passion.

Dimaktso Maubane hosted a fashion show showcasing a variety of summer collection clothes for males, females and children on December 03.

“I decided to host a fashion show to introduce my boutique. I have put together outfits and retail them to clients,” said Selepe.
She added she is intrigued by anything that has to do with the beauty industry and is inspired by the late gospel artist, Sifiso Ncwane’s wife, Ayanda.

“My husband and I love matching clothes and that motivates me. My biggest role model in the industry is Palesa Mokubung.”
“This fashion show also gave me the chance to give young girls around the community the opportunity to model for me, just to keep them busy. In future, we are hoping to give back to the community by supplying sanitary towels to different schools.”
