MMC conducts unannounced visits in Kempton Park and Thembisa

Thamahane commended the teams for achieving many millstones, especially when it comes to patching potholes. This is despite the low staff complement and other challenges.

MMC for Transport Mabekenyane Thamahane commended the roads and stormwater officials in Thembisa for their progress in addressing potholes.

Thamahane was speaking during unannounced visits to the three depots in Edenvale, Thembisa and Kempton Park on Thursday.

The visits aimed to find a way to fast-track roadworks in the city.

Thamahane commended the teams for achieving many millstones, especially when it comes to patching potholes. This is despite the low staff complement and other challenges.

“Potholes rehabilitation and building of pavements are impressive and we want to maintain the spirit of working hard for our residents,” Thamahane said.
