Birch Acres soccer star heads for Portugal

Young soccer star selected for CR7 tournament in Portugal.

Thirteen-year-old Lethokuhle Majola has been selected to play at the Cristiano Ronaldo Campus Tournament in Maderia Portugal.

The prestigious tournament will be held from June 29 to July 4 and Majola, a former Birch Acres Football club player has been selected to represent the U13 team from Jorge’s Elite Soccer School.

Majola heads for Madeira Europe to play at the Cristiano Ronaldo Campus Tournament from July 29 to June 4.

The young soccer star has been playing soccer for over eight years and through his achievements has been able to gain recognition from various scouts.

Majola started playing for Birch Acres FC at the age of nine years and received numerous accolades including Top Goal Scorer in 2017 (U9) and 2018 (U10).

He was also awarded the Player of the Season in the same year and again in 2019.

Thirteen-year-old Lethokuhle Majola has been selected to play at the Cristiano Ronaldo Campus Tournament from June 29 to July 4.

The club also won the league championships and cub final before Majola was scouted to play for JESS in 2021.

He was also selected to play at the 49th Bill Stewart Tournament held at Camp Discovery with the Eastern Football Association this year.

Majola’s deserved trip to Madeira Europe is expected to cost an estimated R45 000 and the team will in preparation for the tournament play at the Guala Cup.
