Seven nailed for attempted robbery
The suspects may be linked to cases in Edenvale and Boksburg North
Ekurhuleni District Crime Intelligence Trio Task Team nabbed seven for attempted robbery of a motorcycle on May 13.

Officers received information that the suspects were planning the crime.
Capt Neldah Sekgobela, Ekurhuleni District communications officer, said members identified the two suspects’ vehicles, a silver bakkie and a white Toyota with Mozambican registration numbers.

“At the corner of Solomon Mahlangu Drive and Disselbon Avenue, the suspects attempted to hijack a motorcycle. The operational team stopped the two vehicles and the suspects were arrested for attempted robbery.
“The suspects reside in Thembisa, Ivory Park and Rabie Ridge. Preliminary investigation revealed that they may be linked to cases committed in Edenvale and Boksburg North,” said Sekgobela.
