GDED to assist entrepreneurs

An opportunity for SMME’s to shine.

The Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED), in collaboration with Pernod Ricard and the City of Ekurhuleni, is delivering a programme to assist new, small, and established enterprises.
The collaboration seeks to equip young entrepreneurs with a passion for woodworking and furniture manufacture with incubation facilities and recognised skills training.
Individuals with an idea of starting a furniture manufacturing business but require guidance or have an existing furniture manufacturing business but do not have access to working equipment and mentorship are invited to contact or visit the department for more information.
“This invitation does not constitute a job offer, however, affords aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to be assisted in realising their dreams of having their own business or growing an existing furniture manufacturing business,” stated the GDED.
The presentation will be in English and is strictly directed at people who are interested in starting their own business or have their own businesses in furniture making, built-in cupboards, kitchens and upholstery.
