Kempton Park SPCA needs an animal health technician

The nurse will perform services such as basic primary animal care on small animals.

The Kempton Park SPCA seeks the services of a veterinary nurse or an animal health technician.

The services to be performed by the nurse/technician include basic primary animal care on small animals, vaccination, deworming and parasite control of small animals and euthanasia of small animals.

“Preference will be given to a candidate who is registered or eligible for registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC),” said Kira Sparrow, manager at the Kempton Park SPCA.

“Kindly take note that the SPCA is a welfare organisation and cannot pay market-related salaries or that prescribed by the SAVC or SAVA.”

CV, proof of qualification and proof of registration with the SAVC must be forwarded to the Kempton Park SPCA by no later than close of business on April 1 to manager@kemptonspca.co.za
