Hospice East Rand to host remembrance event

As the year draws to a close, we reflect on the past and in doing so remember loved ones lost along the way.
Hospice East Rand will host its annual Candles of Remembrance Ceremony to give community members the opportunity to pay tribute to their loved ones.
The event which will be held virtually on December 5 from 17:00 will allow those participating to do so safely from the comfort of their homes.

“We welcome community members to light a candle at home and enjoy the event via our Facebook page or YouTube,” said Jonquil Siepman, marketing and media relations for Hospice East Rand.
“We also have our special Wall of Remembrance on our website and invite you to share your special message of hope, recall a happy memory, or simply offer encouragement to others when making a donation.”
She said the messages shared on Hospice East Rand’s website will be screened during the remembrance ceremony.
