Ekurhuleni cemetery operations under lockdown level four
The City of Ekurhuleni has put measure in place to curb the spread of Covid-19 and ensure adherence to the set regulations regarding sanitisation, maintaining social distancing and wearing of masks in cemeteries.

The City of Ekurhuleni has put measure in place to curb the spread of Covid-19 and ensure adherence to the set regulations regarding sanitisation, maintaining social distancing and wearing of masks in cemeteries.

Here are the measures in place:
• Burials will take place seven days a week, including public holidays.
• The maximum number of people allowed per funeral is 50.
• The maximum number of burials per day per cemetery is 14.
