Wall of remembrance: Rita remembered by loved ones

She grew up in Kempton Park and completed primary school at Petite Laerskool and matriculated from Hoërskool Kempton Park.

Rita du Plessis (née Oosthuizen) was born in 1952 and died on January 9 due to Covid-19-related complications.
She grew up in Kempton Park and completed primary school at Petite Laerskool and matriculated from Hoërskool Kempton Park.

She married Jéan du Plessis and had three children, Michael, Jeannine and Petro.  She worked at the City of Tshwane’s Licensing Department until her retirement.

Rita spent her last year at the SAVF Kinross Herberg in Germiston. She will be remembered by her three children, three grandchildren and her two sisters and brother-in-law, Anna van Aarde, Willie and Petro Swanepoel.
