Pieter-Dirk Uys to live-stream show ahead of Mandela Day
You will see him with some of his most well-known characters who are now all staying two metres apart
On Friday, July 17 at 6pm, South African theatre legend and satirist Pieter-Dirk Uys will present a live-streamed performance from Penny Lane Studios in Cape Town entitled Pieter-Dirk Uys says hello darling!
Ahead of Madiba Day, the upbeat 67-minute show will see him with some of his most well-known characters who are now all staying two metres apart while (sometimes) keeping their masks on, especially the politicians.

This is a show for all who believe there is a bright light of hope at the end of this dark, curved Covid-19 tunnel.
As always, Uys will tiptoe through the minefield of political correctness, using humour as a weapon of mass distraction. You will all enjoy washing your hands thoroughly when it’s over!
