Three security officers were left injured on Friday morning following a cash-in-transit heist on Putfontein Road in Benoni.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 10am to find the armoured vehicle in the middle of the road. Three male security officers were found walking around on the scene, said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

Medics assessed the men and found they had sustained only minor injuries.
The men were treated for their injuries and were transported to a nearby private hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
