Sibusiso ‘Camchild’ Mazibuko continues to pursue his childhood dream of being a photographer and has been nominated for Photographer of the Year at the 012 Awards.
The Thembisa-born photographer encouraged the community to vote for him.
He was nominated for the Best Photographer Award in the Live Your Dream Youth Awards and brought the award home.
“My love and passion started when I joined the Press Team Club, since then I haven’t looked back,” said Mazibuko.
“I have also recently been nominated for Best Photographer at the Mzansi Arts and Media Awards (MAMA) 2020, but the voting lines have not opened.”
In his previous interview with The Thembisan he said: “My next journey is to grow my photography business, with a focus on film and television. I have a lot of things I need to do, but all of them require finance. God will make a way for me to make all the ideas I have a reality.”
