JUST after 8am this morning election results showed the DA had secured almost 46% of the votes in Ekurhuleni.
The ANC sat on 41% and the EFF on almost 8%. It must be noted that many results are still outstanding.
In the 2011 elections the ANC got 62.17% of the votes, followed by the DA with 30.13%.
In six of Kempton Park’s eight wards the DA has so far won the majority vote.
