Convenient back seat cover

Forget hair and drool-covered seats by opting for a sturdy back seat cover. Not only will it protect your car seats, it also gives your dog a safe, comfortable space to chill or chew on their toy. Opt for a seat cover made from waterproof material that is machine washable and has a non-slip surface and bottom, to give your pooch’s paws good grip and prevent the cover from sliding around. Look for one that fastens behind the back-seat headrests and around the front ones to allow full coverage of the back of your car. A zip down the middle between the front seats is ideal, should you want to reach back to give your pup some cuddles or to easily move toys, treats or blankets from the front to the back. Ideally you also want the seat cover to have built in storage pouches for the leash, treats and toys. 

Groom on the go

We all love to freshen up while on a long road trip…and so does your dog! Grooming wipes are super handy to wipe off any dirt on your pup’s fur or to clean those muddy paws. Choose grooming wipes that are hydrating as traveling can be dehydrating and make sure they are safe to use on dogs.

Making sure your pup stays hydrated during the trip is crucial, so always have an on-the-go water bowl on hand. While the silicone pop-up bowls are space-saving and great while out on a long walk, it is tricky to use in a car and chances are the water will end up all over the back seat. Instead, try a portable dog water bottle with a bowl attachment. Fill the bottle with water and simply squeeze it to fill the bowl at the top for your dog.
